Sanctuary String Quartet has developed a reputation as one of Australia's most trusted classical music agencies, consisting of members of The Australian Session Orchestra and founded by violinist Daniel Lopez and cellist Eleanor Streatfeild. With over 20 years in the music industry, we've performed at thousands of weddings, corporate events, recording sessions and live concerts with international artists including Laufey, Mirusia Louwerse and Bill Bailey among many others, however more importantly than listing accolades, we believe in good communication, building lasting relationships with both our clients and our musicians, and taking personal pride in the excellence of our work. ​Our roster of musicians are handpicked for their musicianship and professionalism, and we'd love for you meet some of them here​​​​​​​​​.​

We have an extensive music library, including many bespoke compositions and arrangements for string quartet, string trio, and string duo that you won't find anywhere else. We can accomodate clients with unique song requests with our in-house music arrangement and recording service. We've written beautiful string quartet charts for songs by artists from Vera Lynn to Peter Gabriel to Tool.
