Evan Setiawan is a professional violinist, teacher, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. He is the String Coordinator at a private school on the Gold Coast and performs regularly with the Gold Coast Chamber Orchestra and DeepBlue Orchestra.

Since completing his Bachelor of Music with Honours at the University of Queensland in 2007, Evan has built a career that spans international tours, world expos, and major cultural events. Highlights include representing Australia at the 2025 Osaka World Expo (Australian Pavilion), performing at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games Arts Festival, and appearing on national television for the 2020 Australian of the Year Awards. He has also performed at festivals across Asia, the USA, and Australia, and for dignitaries including the Governor-General of Australia, the President of Vietnam, and the Sultan of Malaysia.

Evan has collaborated on recordings and performances with leading artists such as Dami Im, Kate Miller-Heidke, and the John Butler Trio. As an educator, he has over 15 years of teaching experience and has led workshops for thousands of students both nationally and overseas.
